For 2022 we're going to try something a little different. Our monthly holiday guides will still include all pet-themed holidays for the month, and all holidays listed will have special assets for you to use in your Astro Marketing Suite, and those that work well with Astro Offers will still have their Astro Offer Pairings.
However, every month we will choose a small handful of holidays to feature in this particular article. The holidays we choose to highlight will be the most compatible with your Astro Loyalty Offers and Sharing The Love platforms.

This is also a great opportunity to do a Facebook or Instagram Live, or a TikTok. Then you can show your customers your favorite harnesses and leashes, or demonstrate some training tips.

During your video, you can demonstrate training tips, and show your customers your best standard to high-value training treats. If a regular post is more your style, you can do a post a week featuring a new training method - i.e. "How to Train Your Dog to Sit" or "How to Train Your Dog to Stay" and so on.

Sharing The Love: One of the greatest ways to change a pet's life is to either adopt them into your home, help an adoptable pet find their forever home, or contribute to that's pet's holistic health once they are settled in their new home. Sharing The Love allows our neighborhood retailers to both celebrate a pet finding their forever home while introducing their new family to the healthiest options in food, supplements, treats, and so forth. This is a great time to mention your involvement in this platform so your community can help you spread the word.
My Promotion Ideas: How would you like to help change a pet's life today? You could offer nutrition consults, with 10% off whatever they purchase that day based on your recommendations. This is a great way to invite your customers to ask questions of you that they may not have felt comfortable asking before (i.e. they didn't want to disturb you, or were too shy to speak up) while giving them a discount to help them get started on their nutrition journey. Social Media Fun: Ask your customers to share stories on how they have changed a pet's life, or their pet's life, recently. Start a conversation that introduces members of your community to ways that they can change a pet's life today and every day.
