My Promotion Ideas: Showcase the products you carry that help pet owners make the most of their outdoor walks - whether that's a walk through the neighborhood or through the woods. This could be a great time to talk about the benefits of certain types of harnesses and leashes over others. A really clever promotion that I've seen in an Astro retailer's store was a promotion to collect "dangerous" items such as pinch collars and retractable leashes. If a pet owner turned in one of these items they would receive a discount on a new item to replace it.
Social Media Fun: One of the funniest TikTok's I've seen in a while was created by an Astro retailer up in Canada, Doodle Dogs. They were showing, in a funny way, how retractable leashes "trip you up."
